What we are looking for

We’re looking for a Chief Financial Controller (CFO) with experience in Merger & Acquisition to overlook all financial activities and assist the Executive team in financial planning as well as controlling. You will be responsible for tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.

What you will do

• Drive the company’s financial planning and perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments;

• Control and evaluate the organization’s funding plans and capital structure;

• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations;

• Supervise the financial controller and coordinate with outsourced accountants;

• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports;

• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies;

• Organize and plan various M&A business set up;

• Develop and review various finance and operational processes for all acquisitions and mergers;

• Administer business objectives and monitor implementation of all businesses;

• Monitor and implement post-merger integration and define appropriate scope and objectives;

• Analyze various mergers and acquisitions by organization, identify issues and assist in appropriate resolution;

• Monitor all results for process and maintain quality to improve businesses.

The ideal candidate has:

• High fluency in English, no Finnish required

• Proven track record as CFO, senior financial analyst, or relevant roles

• Proven experience in Merger & Acquisition

• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

• Proficient in financial management software

• Ability to strategize and solve problems

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and people skills

• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers

• BSc/BA or Higher Degrees in Accounting, Finance or relevant fields

It would be a plus if you also have:

• CFA or/and CPA

• MSc/MBA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

• An understanding of eCommerce-related acquisitions

• Expertise in business operations and management for fast-growing startups

• Experience in retail, fashion, cleantech, data analytics, marketing, media, and brand building
