What we have to offer
The Marketing & Communication Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing Inventure’s marketing and communication strategy. The role includes managing traditional as well as digital marketing channels, with the overall objective to develop and strengthen the Inventure brand. You will also be catalyzing meaningful relationships across our 60+ portfolio companies, creating and curating helpful resources for our founding teams. This role can be based in either Stockholm or Helsinki.
What you will be doing
You’ll be responsible for developing and executing Inventure’s marketing and communication strategy, and setting the tone and brand identity both internally and externally in order to strengthen the Inventure’s identity, brand, and relationships with entrepreneurs and investors.
Be a trusted advisor for our portfolio companies - you’re the specialist they’ll turn to on brand marketing, media strategy, and communications and how to use their voices to grow their brands.
Develop and manage our content strategy, devise new ideas, write and edit original content for our multiple platforms.
Conduct and write press releases, for Inventure as well as for our portfolio companies and manage journalist contacts.
Run our social media accounts.
Manage our website and continuously build out improvements.
Plan and co-run events for our firm, portfolio, and our network.
What we’re looking for
You have a minimum of five years of work experience in venture capital, startups, or creative/PR agencies.
You are a strong writer and editor with a clear point of view who is able to develop and execute new ideas.
Have a strong analytical and strategic ability.
You have a strong grasp of the startup and technology landscapes, particularly in the Nordics.
You are able to work autonomously, problem solve, juggle a variety of tasks, and collaborate across stakeholders.
You have a passion for early-stage startups and technology trends.
Native-level English skills (written and verbal) are required, additional language skills are a plus.
