At Speiz, we are on a mission to create the world's first data-driven leasing platform for commercial real estate space.
Demand for new Urban Warehouse and Logistics Space is skyrocketing, driven by new emerging businesses that provide consumers with goods, products and services delivered at the doorstep. In addition, Covid-19 and rapid growth in e-commerce sales drives demand for Local and Traditional Warehouse Space. The industry as a whole is facing unprecedented changes and is growing at unprecedented rates.
However, the Warehouse and Logistics Space Leasing Industry is still operating as if it was 1984. The market data is extremely fragmented and manual labour-intensive processes are king. This makes it impossible for users to make well-informed decisions and find their best options. It also makes it difficult for emerging consumer-centric businesses to grow.
The current situation, combined with the fact that there are no companies working to solve market users' problems creates a unique opportunity to build highly disruptive technology company and forever change the world of commercial real estate leasing.
This is why we founded Speiz in 2020. Within our first year of operation, we have launched our product MVP and generated significant amounts of revenue, both for our customers and the company. We have also raised capital from Antler - a global early-stage VC, TRK Group - Norway's most active early stage investor and we have received two public grants from Innovation Norway, in addition to adding new team members to our startup-family.
The founding team consists of Paulius and Sondre. We are both highly ambitious individuals with entrepreneurial and value-driven mindsets, and we have extensive start-up and real estate experience.

CTO / Tech lead
Role
Start off being a “digging into the tech stack-all-day get shit done” technical generalist working very closely with the founding team to a manager responsible for scaling teams to execute on the business strategy. You will go from caring about the tech roadmap to caring about the team you´re building.
In a nutshell, we´re looking for a CTO that will scale with Speiz, as opposed to coming in at a later stage. We believe that this is an absolutely essential ingredient for our future success.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the tech development, and hiring and managing the teams.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Create and own the overall product road map with a lean and iterative approach
Hire, manage and lead tech teams, but also deep dive into technological challenges and do development on your own
Build a customer-centric FUN culture with focus on TEAM with capital letters, delivering a product and features that create instant value for our clients
Collaborate and communicate both internally and externally, making sure the right technology decisions are made
Experience
Strong technical background with proven track record of building cutting-edge digital B2B platform products and services
Deep technical expertise and knowledge of the product journey with an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset
Ability to hire top tech talent
Big plus if you have
Previous experience from fast-growing startup
Experience from similar industries with a highly fragmented data landscape.
Experience hiring & managing teams across more than one location is a plus
