What we look for

A Front-End Developer Intern to work closely with the design team to develop, implement and create Rens' website(s). The job requires to be responsible for the translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of website applications along with maintaining and updating existing source code to make the user experience as smooth and easy as possible. Furthermore, the person needs to build an e-commerce software solution to improve sales and drive conversion.

What you will do

• Maintain and improve the online storefront(s); manipulating existing source codes

• Assist in testing and implementing optimizations, bug fixes, and integrations of Rens eCommerce platform features

• Ensure best user experience for all sites

• Ensure digital tracking and measuring tools are implemented correctly and efficiently

• Optimize applications and developing new solutions to improve sales and boost the team’s productivity

• Provide insights and propose changes concerning optimization opportunities for both front-end and back-end functionality

  
  

What you need

• High fluency in English, no Finnish required

• Efficient knowledge and fluency in coding language(s), such as CSS, SASS, Basics of Javascript, NodeJS

• Knowledge in REST API, GraphQL API

• Experience in web design and web development

• Attention to details and an ability to build scalable and reliable software

• Having the self-organized, self-starter mindset; comfortable with working in teams as well as independently

• Experience in retail, fashion, and e-commerce industries

• Experience in interface design, UI/UX design for phone and tablet
