The Invoier story

Working with Invoier you will be joining a fast growing fintech company where you will play an important role in shaping how small and medium businesses will get access to money. Money they need to buy material, pay salaries, handle hiccups or maybe to grow their business.

Invoier is similar to a stock exchange, but instead of stocks our users are trading invoices. This means that a company looking for money will always get the best available market price when selling an invoice. This is enabled by our real time AI models to rate invoices and convert them into tradable assets.

Even if we are in an early stage, The European investment bank and KTH have decided to invest in Invoier with plans to bring our solution out in the EU to make a great impact for the EU citizens. We have gone live for real with a marketplace (still MvP-ish) where buyers and sellers meet. The reception has been fantastic and we feel ready to take the next step. You will be an essential part of building the scalable solution to be rolled out globally. 

We aim to build a tight team of 8-10 developers and have 4 in place currently.

We’re looking for engineers that share our passion for building great products using solid engineering practices. We are looking for positive and passionate people who will put teamwork and collaboration above all else. You will need to be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment, able to navigate ambiguity and a high rate of change

Who we are

The techteam has great experiences from exchanges coming from Nasdaq and Amazon. 

The founders of the company are serial entrepreneurs having built several successful companies previously.

We are a team of 11 at the moment aiming to become 25 by the end of next year.

As a team we are always looking for team mates who are passionate about learning new technologies and we love having demos and presentations on new solutions.  We are restless by nature and we are always looking for new ways to solve problems,  big and small. 

What you will do

• Own your services end to end together with the team. Decide how best to build, test, deploy and monitor.

• Work with large scale, highly available and resilient modern financial systems.

• Work with automated deployment enabling code release multiple times a day.

• Work with serverless cloud native technologies 

You should have

• A focus on automation and cloud-native thinking.

• A strong technical as well as analytical background.

• A proven record of working within distributed infrastructures and experience in Cloud technology.

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written. 

• Experience with API and product development

• Willingness to learn new technologies and move between different tech stacks

• 1+ years working in public cloud (ideally AWS).

• Is some of this new to you? That’s OK! We believe that great developers can pick up new technologies quickly and we provide support to learn on the job

You might also have

• Hands-on experience in building API-based solutions. 

• Experience building and managing serverless applications.

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working with Javascript / Typescript

• Experience working with React

• Experience working with Redux
