What we look for

As a Data Engineer, you will be working with our accounting team, logistics team, and our CTO to streamline our data to insightful dashboards and extract useful information to contribute to our business decisions. This requires a hacking mindset and coding skills using Python or Javascript.

What you will do

• Own and improve the infrastructure for data collection, storage and processing;

• Improve tooling used by other team members to manipulate and access data;

• Improving data reliability, efficiency and quality.

• Structuring raw, unprocessed data for further digestion

  
  

What you need

• Fluency in English, no Finnish required

• Hands-on cloud technology skills

• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Python including object-oriented design

• Scripting/programming experience (esp. Python, or Javascript)

• Familiar with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

• Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Attention to details and an ability to build scalable and reliable software

• Having the self-organized, self-starter mindset; comfortable with working in teams as well as independently
