We are looking for someone who wants to do impactful work and can take on the position as Accountant. 

What you’ll do

You’ll become part of our Finance team based in Copenhagen and report to the Finance Director. We are in the middle of defining and implementing different accounting and administrative processes and you will, in cooperation with our Finance Director and the rest of the team, become a key part of that process and get to influence our daily operations and accounting processes. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Handle salaries including data calculations, ensuring timely approval, coordinating with the People Operations Manager, answering questions from employees in an admin-role.

• Handle our day-to-day accounting in collaboration with our senior accountant.

• Contribute to everything from processing and accounting of creditors and VAT settlement to monthly reporting to the management. 

• You will especially focus on our Danish and Swedish operations. 

• Get the opportunity to further develop and implement new workflows in cooperation with our Finance Director and Senior Accountant.

• Assist with preparing material for, answer questions in relation to the yearly audit in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and USA

• Assist HR in developing relevant policies from a Finance perspective

Who you are

We believe you have 4+ years of experience from accounting and hold a degree in accounting,  economics or related discipline.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially excel)

• A passion for numbers and close attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment 

• Have an efficient and result-oriented working style

• Familiar with various ERP systems - we use Economic/NetSuite.

• Fluency in spoken and written English and Danish

• Experience with salary calculations and systems - we use Danløn

• Experience with Swedish accounting is an advantage but not required

• Experience with accounting tasks regarding VAT is an advantage but not required.
