Since you probably don't live under a rock, you have certainly noticed that: Sustainability is a hot topic, hotter than ever and here to stay 🔥 now also for the everyday consumer, companies and even governmental institutions. And thankfully so, since this is not a challenge that only the scientists need to fix. No, we are all a part of the solution. But despite everbody is talking about it, how many can really make sense of it? And isn't it difficult to be part of the solution, without actually understanding it. That's what we are here to fix! But we need your help.

BeCause is looking for hands-on sales professionals to join our team to help scale our solution to new heights.

As a Business Development Associate, your primary focus is to spread the word about BeCause in Denmark and help us scale! Your point of contact are the CEOs, CMOs, Sustainability Manager and everyone else who might be the decision maker in regards to branding and marketing their sustainability initiatives. This role requires a high level of energy, a can-do attitude paired with a creative mindset. You will be responsible for engaging with potential customers via outbound activities (emails, calls, video-mails, social selling, events, etc.), building our future client pipeline and experiment with new ways to create interest and attract opportunities.

BeCause is a online hub for MARKETPLACE SUSTAINABILITY 🌏 We help you find sustainable brands to buy from, work for & impact. 🦸 How? We give brands the opportunity to showcase their Sustainability CV on our hub, digitally. Thereby, also creating features that help them showcase it on their own channels. The hub can simply:

• Assemble companies’ digital sustainability CV in one single place – e.g., SDGs, Donations, Awards, Certifications, Industry Challenges.

• Organize the sustainability communications in a simplified and organized way that all stakeholders can understand. 

• Showcase easily & automatically to all audiences across various channels – via our widgets, reports, integrations and more.

Unfortunately, it is currently hard to find, compare, trust, resonate and reward the sustainability of brands.👎 BeCause will be the hub to bridge that gap and ecosystem - conveniently, believably & worthwhile. 🔥 Come Be-your-Cause with us🚀

• Native-level fluency in Danish and English, written and spoken

• Ambition - lots of it - and strong inner motivation paired with a positive mindset (it's the key to hitting targets 🎯 ) You are driven and get things done with a high level of integrity. Passionate about building an ambitious, scalable, sustainable and viable international business, making an impact and interested in investing yourself accordingly.

• More of a hunter than a farmer in sales (outbound experience strongly preferred)

• Winning attitude - knowing that there are easy days and hard days and the ability to get through them both

• Communication skills - You will execute email, social & calling outbound prospecting campaigns.

• Exceptional people skills: strong listening abilities, empathy, and genuine and flowing curiosity to learn more about the people you are interacting with. Motivated, positive, celebrate team victories and learnings.

• Humility. You ask "How can I create and build more value here?" rather than "What's in it for me?"

• Eye for opportunity: You can find, locate and discover different revenue streams, pain points, value-adding services and more.

• Stamina and a growth mindset.

• Set goals and are eager to reach them.

• Are a team player - we have no room for sharp elbows, politics, or egos in BeCause.

What you can expect from us on the first day?

We are an early-stage, soon-to-be-funded startup. Therefore, until we have sufficient investment funding, we cannot yet offer a fixed wage.
