Fullstack developer - intern

Speedfriending is a Scandinavian startup aiming to create social arenas where strangers meet, talk and friend zone each other. We want to simplify connecting to the social grid, wherever you are. We have recently launched our Speedfriending app, while organizing events all over Norway, Denmark and Australia.

We are looking for someone who loves challenges, has a can-do-attitude, and who recognize the great impact this can have in eliminating loneliness and friendzoning the world. You will become a very important part of our team and future!

We are looking for someone who loves challenges, has a can-do-attitude, and are aligned with the visions and ambitions of Speedfriending. We are currently developing the Speedfriending-app and another digital concept that has a significant potential. We have professional developers working with us on this, but it would be positive to do more of this inhouse.

If you have a background from IT - that is great - but for us the most important is the potential, and the capacity to deliver. You might be a student in computer science or self thought. We are now starting something we have never done before, so the few first people coming along with us on this journey will be very important for us. 

Responsibilities:

 - Help analyze user needs and develop web app, software solutions

- Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs

- Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency

- Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code

- Create flowcharts and user guides for new and existing programs

- Document all programming tasks and procedures

- Perform routine software maintenance

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields

- Experience with building mobile applications with React Native

- Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or other programming languages

- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server

- Deadline and detail-oriented

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

- Experience developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
