QA/Security Engineer with The Many

You will be part of a team of talented and ambitious developers, using the latest

technologies and modern development tools and processes. Furthermore, you will gain

deep insight into the world of FinTech and startups, as well as having fun along the way.

The Job

The Many’s tech team is responsible for creating the platform that makes it possible

for us to onboard and maintain thousands of investors. Your job as part of this team

will be to systematically try to break our stuff: find bugs, do performance testing, do

penetration testing. We already have a capable QA engineer on the team, and your job

will be together with him to ensure the quality and robustness of our software.

You must be comfortable working in teams and not be afraid to chime in with your

knowledge and skills where needed. Furthermore, while you are expected to take pride

in your work and be generally curious, you must also be pragmatic as this is a startup in

a competitive and fast-moving field, which means that things may change quickly and

without much notice. This, however, probably also makes it one of the most interesting

industries to work in as a software engineer.

You

You are a self-driven, curious person with attention to detail who may have previous development experience, but who now primarily wishes to focus on Quality Assurance and security.

If all of these apply to you, you’re probably our ideal candidate.

• 2+ years of experience as a developer

• Experience with penetration testing web applications

• Experience with performance testing web applications

• An attention to detail that almost annoys people around you

• Strong understanding of automated software testing

• Strong understanding of security and scalability in applications

• Strong understanding of how browsers work

• Good knowledge of databases

• Strong knowledge of the HTTP protocol

• Good understanding of distributed systems and software architecture

• Good JavaScript/TypeScript skills

• Good knowledge of node.js

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Google Cloud

• Experience with development in agile workplaces, using e.g. Scrum

• Experience using version control software like Git

• Experience with GraphQL a definite plus

• Experience from the fintech sector a definite plus

• Understanding of continuous integration/deployment pipelines

• Must be located in Denmark
