Hello Ambitious and Creative Changemaker!

Are you interested in making a real impact? Do you want to join a group of like-minded talented changemakers? The newly established Ambitious Denmark (DABA) team is looking for a kind and engaging event and speaker coordinator.

We are looking for warm-hearted, genuine, and motivated team members to help lift Ambitious.Africa in Denmark. Are you ready to accept the challenge and contribute to a strong community of engaged young people ready to change the world for the better.  

You will shape a better future together with other talented team members in Denmark, the Nordics and the African continent.

You will work with several other colleagues in the event team.

What are your responsibilities:

You will be in charge of making sure everything is in place to succeed and provide high-quality events. You will help to look for relevant speakers and partners to strengthen the Nordic - African collaboration and make sure participants use the event’s networking platform to their benefit. Most of your tasks will revolve around:

• Creating content for panel discussions

• Guiding speakers before, during and after events

• Updating the Deal Room platform and making sure everything is in place for events

• Creating a list of potential partners and get in touch with them

Qualifications:

• Good digital communication skills

• Detail-orientated

• Passionate about creating awesome events

• Availability to contribute at least 5-10 hours/week

You don't need to have previous experience in Event management (although if you do - that's also great!). If you are good at talking to people and like arranging parties or other events - this would be a great opportunity to elevate your skills to larger-scale events in a professional environment.
