SmallClaims is a Danish-based startup with a global mission to make the judicial system open and accessible to businesses and individuals. We want to fight injustice and give the power back to individuals and businesses with claims below DKK 50.000 (small claims). 

SmallClaims is digitizing the process for small claim lawsuits, enabling people to act as their own Attorney making people able to take cases to court by themselves. We want to get rid of the expensive Attorney, and SmallClaims will work as a personal machine learning driven Attorney and an easy to use digital tool, allowing people to sue anyone for claims below DKK 50.000.

It is an absolute must that you are an experienced software engineer and know how to code well. Preferably with experience from building a tech platform. It is essential you can take the lead on all development tasks as you will have full responsibility for all the tech-related work in the company. You have no problems in working independently as you will be the sole person to head the technical development process. When we get traction, you will be responsible for recruiting people to join your tech team.

As Co-Founder, you are also expected to take part in the commercial and strategic discussions regarding how we can acquire customers and how to develop the tech platform in the best way possible to meet our customer's needs. 

It would be preferred if you are based in the Copenhagen area, but if you are the right candidate, we are open to a remote position. We are open to a solution where you are already employed in another company but are willing to work on the side to begin with.
