Technical co-founder interested in blockchain technologies

We are looking for a technical co-founder to strengthen the development of Crypto Leagues and add a set of extra hands to the current two-man team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js/Angular, Node.js) and an innate interest in blockchain technologies.

What is Crypto Leagues?

Crypto Leagues is a risk-free cryptocurrency trading game, where players compete against each other in leagues for a chance to win real cryptocurrency prizes. Players receive $1000 in play money as starting capital and at the end of the league, the top-profiting players share the cryptocurrency prize pool.

The platform has been live since mid-2020 and has so far paid out more than $25,000 in cryptocurrency prizes to winners among the 2900 players who have signed up since then. The platform features a real-time trading engine with full order book functionality, including depth charts and both market and limit orders.

Your role

You will be working with the current founder to bring the vision of Crypto Leagues to fruition and help introduce cryptocurrency to thousands of new players. Much of your time will be spent hands-on, coding and increasing the value proposition of the platform, but as a co-founder, you will also contribute on a strategic level to help Crypto Leagues reach its milestones, together with your other co-founder.

The current lead developer will remain on the team and will also be available to guide you through the current code and answer any queries to get you up to speed. He has developed the platform from scratch, so he will be able to offer quick directions and thorough explanations.

Plusses

• Experience with web3js and Solidity.

• Interest in and experience with cryptocurrency and/or blockchain technologies.

• Has previously built and launched a product (maybe just for the fun of it).

• Has experience working at a startup.

• Experience making decisions in the intersection of business and technology.

• A formal degree within the Computer Sciences, although it is more important that you love to code.

• Located in Denmark, so regular meet-ups are possible.
