We already have a best-in-class product, and as we expand into new markets and release new products we need to stay ahead in that game. We’re looking for a platform engineer to join our rocket ship for the next phase, where we will expand our operations globally. That’s where you come in!

What will you do?

You will be part of an agile staff/platform team who has the responsibility of helping the other teams be more efficient by building, improving and maintaining our shared development platforms. We have minimal overhead and bureaucracy as we want the teams to be able to focus on what is important. Our technology stack consists of:

• Java Spring Boot, MariaDB, RabbitMQ and a bit of Node.js on the backend, and React and typescript on the frontend.

• Our platform infrastructure contains Docker, Ansible, Gitlab, Elastic, Prometheus, and more.

• Our architecture is cloud-agnostic and primarily built with microservices. We already have a best-in-class product, and as we expand into new markets and release new products we need to stay ahead in that game.

A typical workday could include:

• Working closely together with the data and development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with scale, performance and operability in mind.

• Designing, building, and automating the CI/CD infrastructure and tools.

• Performing and automating vulnerability patching of our tools and infrastructure.

• Setting up and automating monitoring and alerting.

• Writing documentation on tools, environments and procedures.

• Ensuring our systems scale and perform according to our service levels.

• You are pragmatic and strive for maintainability, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.

• You care deeply about the team, helping others be more efficient, and can take the lead on initiatives.

• Technology excites you and you strive to learn something on a daily basis.

• You have a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.

• You have at least 2 years of experience with some of our platform tools

• You preferably have experience with Java development and pipelines
