We at Centiglobe are looking for a Senior Backend Developer that loves developing high-quality code. You will help us to modernize the process of transferring value, specifically in the area of cross-border payments and disintermediation of the traditional financial system. Centiglobe uses a blockchain-based decentralized exchange architecture to create fast, transparent, and secure transactions. These improvements help banks and financial institutions to increase earnings and revenues while also providing better services to their customers.

The position 

We are looking for a tech-savvy coder that will implement, test and deploy our technology and related microservices on a global cloud infrastructure. The product is centered around decentralized proprietary distributed ledger technology and several application layers on top. You will balance between new disruptive tech vs stable and proven banking technology in an effort to improve the legacy systems.

You will be hands-on with the code and focus on continuous delivery.

Your responsibilities will be

• Deployment and integration towards our partners

• Design and develop highly scalable, testable code for large B2B use cases

• Manage integrations and development and improvements of our API:s

• Evaluating and selecting open source tools and libraries

Qualifications

• Experience from technical projects and solid experience in software development. 

• Excellent understanding of the problems with developing secure and robust applications preferably within financial service

• Worked in a CI/CD microservice environments

• Experience in software testing and test automation

• Experience from operating production systems on AWS

• Experienced in type languages

• Experience in building robust, scalable systems within trading, finance, or blockchain technologies is also a plus.

• Good communicator in both verbal and written English
