Northfork seeks a VP of Product, to help build the next generation grocery shopping technology and experiences and license it to our retailer and publisher partners.

About the Role The VP of Product is responsible for understanding customer needs, gathering requirements and prioritizing them together with the VP of Tech. You will be responsible for planning and building a product that brings customer value.

Working closely with the teams within Tech, Sales, Marketing and our customers, ensuring that the customer satisfaction goals are met will be key in order to succeed. You are always on top of the needs of our retail customers. Everyone at Northfork obsesses over how best to support customers and drive growth. 

Responsibilities

  • Build and evangelize a product strategy, and make sure that existing and potential customers understand our offering 

  • Engage frequently with customers to understand their needs

  • Own the product backlog, and deliver features together with the Tech Team

  • Perform product demos to customers and prospects

  • Analyze results from launches and customer performance

  • Work closely with Gastrofy, our R&D platform

  • Run beta and pilot programs with customers and prospects

  • Be an expert on the competition

  • Act as a leader within the company

  • Create, implement and improve product development processes

  • Support sales in conversations with leads

Skills and Requirements

  • +7 years of experience working with Product as head, owner, manager or similar

  • High own throughput

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching world class products

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

  • Creative, curious and take initiative

  • Team player and approach work with a can do attitude

  • Strong problem solving, communications and stakeholder management skills

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • You're responsible for your work and you take accountability for it

Reports to

The VP of Product will report directly to the CEO.

Location

Northfork is remote-first and open to this role being outside Sweden. Our preference, given this role deals day to day with tech and leadership team based in Sweden to be based at headquarters.

Northfork is a B2B SaaS company that works to accelerate our grocery retail customers online revenue by adding recipe shopping technology as a seamless experience independent of platforms; the retailers own or publisher partners. 

From our head office in Stockholm we have built a SaaS platform that powers retailers to sell groceries from recipes. The recipes can reside on the retailer’s own domains, online store or surfaced at publishers.  Our technology is proven and adopted by some of the biggest retailers in the world. We currently work with Walmart, BuzzFeed, ICA and Coop to name a few of our partners.
