Assignment description:
Salesforce configurator for market launches
You will play a critical role in bringing a direct consumer business model alive. In close collaboration with colleagues in other business units around the world, you create digital innovations that support the direct to consumer business way of selling services and products.
The Retail & Care ART is responsible for developing and deploying our global Salesforce products across the world. The ART consists of several Agile product development teams as well as a team focusing on programs and market launches.
We are now looking for an experienced Salesforce configurator who can help us bring our Global Online Business product (based on Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds) to various markets.
This is done in collaboration with business owners, launch leads, business analysts, product development teams and local market representatives.
Acting as a liaison between business and technology, creative problem solving, impeccable communication and attention to detail are key skills expected in this role.
The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce.com platform.
Main responsibilities:
Actively investigate the markets’ and product teams’ needs through effective questioning and listening skills
Provide point and click administration and configuration of the Salesforce.com platform to implement business requirements
Provide ongoing consulting and expertise in key areas of focus and conduct product demos when needed
Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks
Work closely with the markets to secure adoption and knowledge transfer to the local teams, e.g. through a train-the-trainer approach
Conduct User Acceptance Testing
Required qualifications:
Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified
Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud certifications preferred
Proven ability to design and implement new processes and assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.
Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
Strong data management abilities
Experience from Agile ways of working (SaFE, SCRUM or similar)
Familiarity with the concepts of CRM, ERP, analytics, data warehousing, and marketing automation, including business case studies and implementations
Personal qualities:
A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements and critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources
Ability to come up with creative approaches to problems and challenges, building on experience and creativity rather than following pre-defined manuals
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Comfortable with chairing on-site live meetings and virtual webinars, to large groups of people either customer facing or internal in nature
