Gemme Collective is a fashion rental marketplace. A platform where members can rent designer and luxury items from their favorite closets and brands. By connecting Gemme’s users to an unlimited virtual closet, we create a fun and easy way to consume fashion in a new and truly sustainable way. We now want to take our tech from good to great. Challenges include: APP development, a SaaS white label solution, prepare to scale up and for international expansion.

About the role

We are looking for a Full-stack Developer to join our friendly engineering team. You will work with modern tools and technologies. In the process of creating and delivering the best possible solution for fashion rental marketplace, you will work cross-functionally and tightly with frontend, UX and test in product team.

Your engagement here will include but won't be limited to:  You will design, develop and deploy highly reliable, available and scalable functionalities. You will have plenty of influence regarding not only what we build, but also how we work. We are a small team but have a clear vision and there’s a lot that you can contribute to, both as a developer and a team member.  Above all, you will help create a more sustainable future by building an online fashion rental marketplace.

You show experience with most of the following:

- You have strong skills working with Python

- Experience working with web application frameworks like angular or react

- You have experience with modern Version Control Systems (we use Git)

- You have worked in agile environments

- You should have knowledge about relational SQL Databases (we use PostgreSQL)

It is extra awesome if you have:

- Worked with Django

- Experience with microservices, AWS and worked on CI

- Some knowledge about Docker

- Knowledge about hybrid mobile apps (React Native/Flutter)

This is a full-time position.

Flexible working hours and location, but should regularly spend time with us in our office in central Stockholm (at least when Covid permits).
