Due to strong interest in our software, we are looking for a full time Sales and Customer success manager with 3 - 5 years’ experience who can help us to position and sell our innovative products to shipping companies.
BunkerMetric’s software products, BunkerPlanner and BargeTracker, provide valuable analytical insights for optimized procurement, planning, and utilization of marine fuels (Bunker). Bunker represents about 50% of costs of a voyage, so savings on fuel purchase have huge impacts on voyage profitability. The global maritime fuel market has a global turnover of +200 Billion USD and is under constant pressure to reduce cost and reduce its environmental footprint, changes which BunkerMetric actively support.
Your core focus will be on selling our software:
You will engage with our existing leads through calls, demos and presentations.
You will create new leads through marketing, conferences, client visits and social media campaigning.
You will also support our existing customers through:
Periodic meetings and follow up to ensure customers are successful in their usage of our software.
User training
Operational support and fact checking of prices, and other data based on customer feedback.
You will work from our head office in Lyngby, together with colleagues, local and abroad, using English.
We are a small company, and you will also be encouraged to support us in other tasks: interacting with suppliers, product design and other activities that we need to execute around selling to and supporting our customers. This will both help us cover all tasks, but also enable you to get a holistic understanding of our products and how we can best deliver value for our customers.
3+ years’ work-experience as vessel operator or bunker buyer / seller
You must be able to present information to clients in a concise manner and have a good sales technique
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
Danish / EU work permit
Live within commuting distance of Copenhagen, Denmark
