We are looking for someone who’s curious, independent, open-minded, and innovative - like the rest of the team. Ideally, you have hands-on experience from working for an early-stage startup and from developing a mobile application, or maybe you have always had an ambition of doing so in the future and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Have you built products or mobile apps from scratch before? Awesome! Since we are a small team, this role will be very hands-on and you will work very operative with the development.

Maybe you also have experience with team management and leadership? Great. Our goal is to expand our team with more developers, so setting up efficient dev processes along with managing a small team of engineers will be on your shoulders.

Our prototype is running and we are in process of collecting initial users' feedback to implement as improvements, before moving to the MVP development which you will be leading - it's your turn to help us bring our app to the wide world!

What you will be working with:

Your main focus will be to lead the technical development of our mobile application, with an immediate focus on working on the MVP that we aim to release this year.

As a CTO, you will be making executive technology-related decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a technology budget and making investments to align the company with their vision for its technological needs. We will offer you creative freedom, room for experimentation, and let you implement your ideas. We already have a few ideas for our UX, UI and features but we cannot wait to hear your innovative input for an amazing user experience!

As a CTO you will be involved in the general company strategy and development of Storka, with among other things: 

• Drive technical strategy & roadmap

• Lead mobile application architecture & technical framework

• Become a primary owner of all tech solutions (mobile app, website)

• Hands-on leadership of technical teams across all functions 

• Work on product development & innovation

• Be a part of management and set the direction for the future

• Managing technology budgets and time frames

• Experience in building stable, secure applications with excellent quality  

• Passionate about mobile application development - experienced in working on mobile devices (both iOS & Android) and feels comfortable with guiding both the mobile and web team

• Multi-skilled with knowledge and/or experience in mobile app development, architecture, data collection/management, back/frontend, UX, etc.

• Experienced in participating in all areas of product development from the idea stage, to development to launch

• Prior experience with startups is a plus - interested in management, raising and scaling up the company

• Interest in HealthTech & wellness and in Storka’s mission - you want to have a positive impact and you are enthusiastic about creating a new trend

• 5+ years in a relevant tech role

• Financially tolerant to invest your time in future gains

Bootstrapping the whole work has taken us thousands of working hours besides financial investment over the last 1.5 years to develop an idea into a prototype.

It is expected from a member of the C-suite & shareholder to compensate for these efforts, mainly in the form of investing working hours and being fully implicated in the project.

The candidate needs a level of financial stability and can manage without a stable salary for some time during 2021 or has other sources of income, as the business is being set up and initial funding secured.
