I am looking for an experienced full-stack developer (focus on the back-end) to join Hireproof as a co-founder.
The role:
You will lead the technology and development of Hireproof. Initially, this means coding the early versions of the product, so it would be great if you love hands-on programming and solving technical problems.
Later on, your role will largely depend on your interests and Hireproof's needs. If you want to own the CTO role, that's great! If you want to get deeper into coding, we can craft you a senior developer role instead.
Requirements:
Your technical stack can be whatever you are the most productive with. The front-end will be written in React, and I and another co-founder know JavaScript and some Python, so either of these languages would be preferred for the back-end. But the main thing is that you need the skills to build scalable, full-stack web applications. You'll be the boss of all that.
First and foremost, I'm looking for a partner to share the ups and downs of an early-stage startup with. If you are curious, enjoy building things, and are ok with some risk, then I'm confident that we'll enjoy working together!
Would be great if you can spend at least 10+ hours on the project initially, and as we move forward and the company starts making money, we'll all jump on board full-time.
The team
I'll serve you as the Product Owner and support you actively with industry experience and hustle.
A second co-founder is an amazing front-end developer and UX designer and knows how to build beautiful user interfaces.
I'll work the customer space, while you own the technology space. I'll know what we should build, and you'll know how.
Compensation:
This is a co-founder position, so I want to share the ownership of the company with you. Initially, we will all be unpaid at first and work on the project part-time until we get funded, so I expect you have the possibility to go without salary for the first few months.
Hiring process:
If you have the skillset that I'm looking for, we'll take our time learning about each other before making major decisions. First, I'll share more about Hireproof's vision and current stage. If it excites you, we'll have a couple of working sessions online. If we enjoy working with each other and are both confident that we can take the company to the next level, we'll shake hands and get our hands dirty.
