At EAT GRIM, we’re on a mission to fundamentally change the way people eat. From our headquarters in Copenhagen, we deliver “ugly-by-nature” and surplus fresh fruit and veg directly to people’s homes in the form of a food box subscription, as well as supply food businesses with sustainable produce. We inspire a growing community of people in Denmark and later this year in Sweden, to reduce food waste by celebrating all of nature’s weird & funky shapes, colours and sizes - in food and people alike. 

As a business development intern, your main goal will be to help EAT GRIM to create a strong framework for expanding quickly in new markets. You will work closely with both the CEO and the Management Associate and will have the opportunity to work with the whole team according to your projects. Furthermore, you will assist in making our internal processes up to date and streamlined.

The responsibilities include: 

EAT GRIM expansion plan

• Researching and analysing the competitors

• Giving EAT GRIM insights and advice on what strategy to follow

• Contributing to the internationalisation strategy of GRIM to Sweden

• Assist in researching and preparing market data on the main European markets and Sweden.

• Prepare presentation slides

• Make general market trend research

• Assist in making a measurement system for market evaluation

Procurement

• Gather produce information from farmers in our order system

• Make weekly box estimates

• Clean up supplier data on the system

Admin

• Helping the Management Associate with financial bookkeeping tasks

Other ad hoc tasks

• You are proactive and thrive in independent work and bring in creative ideas

• You easily find your role in a collaborative team environment

• You can present your work results on an ongoing basis in a clear, action-and goal-oriented manner

• You have studied or are studying a business degree

• You are a data-driven person who understands the numbers and Excel and can make decision-based on what strategies work and don't

• You can digest and present complex information in a top-down structure and are comfortable working in PowerPoint or Google Slides

• You share our passion for food and/or sustainability

• You write and speak English and Danish fluently, Swedish is a plus
