We are Tasty Coconut - a startup focusing on sustainable foods with an exotic twist. We are looking for the perfect internship to manage our operations as we get ready to scale. We are a small team of dedicated people and we are looking for someone like you to join the team!

In a nutshell we import exotic fruits directly from the source and send it to the end consumer (+ B2B).

Your role:

As our operational manager we expect that you have a good overview and the ability to multitask. You will be taking over most of the operational tasks, allowing us to focus more on product development and growth. 

More specifically this entitles:

• Manage and optimize our ordering process at suppliers

• Create order lists every week from our webshop

• Create delivery lists with all orders every week for our transport company

You will be in charge of our day-to-day operations, status, stock etc. and you will be collaborating closely with the CEO and our small management team to make sure our operational machinery is running smoothly, and our customers get the best possible experience.

What you might bring:

• Experience within the field is a plus

• Have a flexible and entrepreneurial mindset

• Are highly analytical, structured and committed to a data-driven approach.

• Are experienced in negotiation and setting up deals with suppliers as well as customers.

• Are familiar with the operations.

Lean & data-driven: We try to get a deep understanding of the problems we’re solving. But we also acknowledge that we often can’t predict the outcome of our work. So we believe in an experiment-based approach to product development with short build-measure-learn cycles. For this reason, we also don’t believe in detailed plans for more than 3 months ahead.

Long-term & compounding: We invest in things that will have a continuous return and compound. We e.g. prefer a 1% improvement of activation rate over a €100k deal. We’re self-funded, so we don’t stress about the next funding round, and take the time to go into depth with our work.
