Account Executive - Bower
Bower’s vision is to make recycling a rewarding no-brainer and create a world free from trash. We’re aiming to become the first impact tech unicorn in Sweden, helping +1B consumers make sustainable choices by rewarding them for doing the right thing.
We’re a bold and visionary, yet down-to-earth and heart-centered, tech company based in Stockholm and we’re now looking for our first two Account Executives (AEs) to join our team.
As an Account Executive at Bower, you’ll be part of an award-winning team passionate about creating a global recycling movement. You’ll be responsible for closing contracts on a global, as well as local level with Enterprise, Mid-market and SMB companies – and to your help, you’ll have the entire sales, marketing, and product team. Our addressable market is worldwide. Since our launch in 2019, we’ve grown to over 150 thousand users with customers in three countries (Sweden, Norway, United States) with several more market entries to come. We aspire to scale our business in a smart, data-driven and fast-paced way.
You will work with inbound inquiries, as well as engage prospects with data-driven outbound activities, through proven sales methods, tactics and processes applied by LinkedIn and Mentimeter.

Responsibilities for the role:
Manage and close high-level business in a fast-moving sales environment
Prospect to build your pipeline and strong relationships with Enterprise (E.g. Unilever, Nestlé and P&G), Mid-market and SMB-companies with a global and local presence in three countries (Sweden, Norway, United States), with several more market entries to come
Assess business opportunities and use data to make informed decisions by helping our customers win and succeed with their business objectives
Sell to early adopters and those adopting Bower for the first time
Close new logo business consistently at or above your quota
Facilitate an efficient transition of won business to our Customer Success Manager
Develop and execute on a strategic plan for the territory and document and distribute competitive information in order for us to win as a team
Create reliable forecasts and be completely transparent with sales leadership on the pipeline status
Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with the Product, Marketing and Sales team
Seek out opportunities to be a leader and do everything you can to help our company achieve its larger objectives
What resources do we have to support you:
World-class lead-generation from the Marketing and Product team
Marketing and Sales team to support in analysis and tactics
Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support you with prospecting, lead qualification and pipeline creation
Professional CRM and data gathering services (Hubspot, Mixpanel, Google Analytics)
Experienced and award-winning sales leadership with a proven track record
Must haves for the role:
At least 1 year of high volume / transactional B2B sales
Experience working with a CRM platform
Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions with the ability to create fair transactions
Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills
Ability to manage a large number of prospect situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
Sustain success in acquiring new business or customer acquisition
Business level Swedish and English (written and spoken) as we sell to several countries today (with several more to come)
Excellent communication skills
