The next step in our journey is linking our station to a software data analytics platform and ensuring that the sensors are correctly calibrated to provide accurate data at all times. 

Does this sound interesting to you? We are looking for an environmentally driven Co-Founder who believes in the Vaquita Technologies approach and has a full stack developer's skills. We are looking for someone who loves exploring new cloud & data solutions and always tries to stay ahead of the market trends.

Main responsibilities

• Spinning up, managing, and monitoring infrastructure on AWS or GCP.

• Expert in database systems, whether SQL or NoSQL and can talk about picking one over the other.

• Worked with data-intensive systems, ingesting and transforming data at high volume, e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka, etc.

• Professional experience in multiple programming languages/stacks is essential. We are not purists in any technology, but making informed and sustainable choices is critical.

• Articulate tradeoffs in technology choices and relate them to business needs.

• Have excellent communication skills and can explain complex technical problems in an accessible and compassionate way.

• Care a whole lot about building good user experiences.

• Experience working on early-stage startups is a plus.

• Experience with integrated systems programming is a plus.

And to be a keen Co-Founder, you need to

• Have a sincere interest in helping the environment.

• Have an open mind, and be a team player. 

• Have a track record of trying and learning new things.

• Have a proven track record of mentorship.

As we are still young, part-time work is more than welcomed, where you set your work schedule based on your availability - do be aware though that there will be deadlines to keep.  We are flexible when it comes to our work schedules, but every week we try to invest as much time as possible, to make our solution best for our customers. We received multiple grants from Swedish based entities, and we are getting investors onboard - this means that monthly salary will be paid out once we get there (sooner than later!).
