UMAI provides software to restaurants helping them save time and increase revenues by automating manual tasks, minimize last-minute cancellations, upsell customers more effectively and provide more personalized service, as well as marketing opportunities.

UMAI operates across 4 continents, with offices in 3 countries.

The team has extensive experience in building internet companies and has been part of building some of the largest e-commerce ventures in the Asia Pacific Region. Founded by a former MD of Foodpanda.sg, the largest food delivery service in Singapore, and a member of the founding-team of Nova Founders Capital. 

This is not a formal corporate role. We are looking for someone who has a “hustle” attitude, who is results driven, comfortable with ambiguity, is a self-starter and has a sense of humor.

• Working hours/days: 8.45 to 17.30, 2-5 days per week

About The Role

You're an individual who is passionate about graphics and has a deep desire to design and contribute to the creation of digital and print experiences that will help to transform UMAI’s branding. You're always looking to learn, grow and strive to be better at what you do. You sweat the fine details and plan out your executions through careful conceptual directions, brainstorms and design. You believe and embrace every challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow. And finally, you love to have fun and enjoy working in an environment with a diverse team of people.

Responsibilities

• Work with the guidance of our UI/UX Designer to bring projects to life with creative problem solving and graphical solutions

• Contributing to various digital, print and on-ground projects including social media, web, apparel, events, campaigns, art direction and more

• Create, innovate and problem solve product and branding solutions for UMAI

Requirements

• Fresh graduates from the field of Graphic Design

• Good command of Photoshop/XD and Illustrator (or similar alternatives)

• Knowledge of visual ideation, creative problem solving, typography, branding and print design

• A deep attention to detail and a meticulous dedication to proper delivery

• The ability to multi-task and solve challenges

• Good communication skills and a collaborative nature

• Passionate for design, creativity and technology
