WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PART-TIME OPERATIONS COORDINATOR TO JOIN OUR TEAM ON THE QUEST TO FIGHT – AND WIN – CANCER WITH AI.
MVision was born out of a deep desire to harness AI in winning the war on cancer. We exist to optimize radiotherapy treatment that 60% of all cancer patients undergo.
With a growing number of cancer clinics putting their trust in our solution, our CEO and the whole management team have their hands more full than ever. This is where you come to the picture: We are looking for a natural organizer to take on some of the executive tasks.
Your tasks would include
You would be a vital part of the management team working closely with the CEO and team leaders. To make it as clear as possible, we’ve divided the tasks into four entities:
Office & facility management
Events & travel
Finance
HR
Office & faculty management makes 60% of the role. It includes tasks such as handling supply orders and office deliveries, meeting arrangements, and assisting the management team with other practical matters. In the future, you would also be the one to greet guests and coordinating practical matters at the office.
Events & travel refers to coordinating and arranging the practicalities of events and travel. Quite self-explanatory, right? Whether it’s a staff party, an offsite workshop, or a group trip, you have the strings in your hands. From coordinating the schedules to booking the tickets and of course, having fun.
Both HR and finance are quite straightforward. Your main HR-related task would be assisting with HR-routines (e.g. benefits, onboarding, information of occupational health). Finance is all about assisting with the practicalities such as invoicing, processing purchase invoices, checking travel invoices, and so on.
You don’t need to know how to do it all – you’ll be supported to learn hands-on. We are a small crew and welcome you with open arms to develop the role towards your own interests!
Skills we are looking for
Studies in a relevant field
Some experience from similar roles (e.g. internship or summer job)
Natural organizational skills with attention to detail
Great interpersonal skills
Fluent skills in English, professional skills in Finnish
Sincere resonance to our cause
As you can see, the role description is a handful and we do not expect you to be a 360 professional with 10 years of experience. No, the key is your proactive attitude and the fact that while reading about the stuff above, you thought you would have fun with them. You are happy to learn and take on new tasks, take responsibility for your own work, and ask questions if necessary. The role includes a lot of internal communication, which underlines the importance of great interpersonal skills. With both colleagues and customers from around the world, it is vital you feel yourself at home in an international atmosphere.
Your experience in similar positions does not need to be calculated in years and it can be from for example internships, summer jobs, or even hobbies. Studies in relevant fields are also seen as an advantage. Most importantly we appreciate a willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
