What you’ll be doing
As part of our Product team, you will be responsible for developing new software and firmware solutions for our current and future products. You will be working in a startup environment making a significant impact on the development of our products.
In this role, you will:
Work on software<>hardware interfacing and control.
Collaborate with the Product team to analyze debug information and implement and deploy firmware OTA updates.
Design, implement, and evaluate real-time embedded system firmware for our products.
Perform firmware code review, analysis and improvement.
Perform firmware focused on system integration, performance profiling, validation and debugging.
Perform failure analysis and corrective firmware actions.

In addition, you must have:
Fluency in English, our working language.
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of academic qualifications.*
Live in (or be willing to relocate to) Oslo, Norway.
Experience with electronics and PCB design.
Experience with embedded programming and concepts like threads, semaphores and queues.
A methodical and analytical mindset from a scientific background.
Experience with ESP32.
* Non-EU/EEA citizens must have completed a bachelor’s degree to be eligible for a work permit in Norway
It is nice to have
Master’s in engineering or a related field.
Excellent mathematical skills.
Experience with the ESP-IDF framework.
Experience with IoT products.
