As a Game Designer at Dazzle Rocks you will be creating imaginative ways for our players to experience our groundbreaking new social MMO. Day to day you will be working closely with our Product Manager and UI/UX Designer to create innovative design concepts and ultimately helping bring them to life in game. By combining market-, audience- and game data insights with your robust design knowledge, you will create new and imaginative ways for our players to experience mobile games and entertainment. You’re a natural team player able to convey your ideas clearly and you enjoy collaborating with different types of people from programmers to artists. Responsibilities

• Create design concepts and wireframes for social MMO games (mechanics, meta-loops and game systems etc.)

• Document design to components and features for implementation

• Communicate with development team of the product features and goals

• Collaborate with the development team to bring design concepts to life in game

• Identify new opportunities and means to bring value to our players by analyzing the market and gathering feedback

• Determine an effective design pipeline for production & live phases of the game

• Create re-usable design templates for most commonly found design tasks and brief presentations

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience from mobile game design with social aspects

• Excellent eye for player oriented design

• Overall understanding of game development process and limitations on design

• Ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English

• Passion for clear & concise documentation

• Skilled in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

• Strong knowledge and willingness to always know more about the market

• Dependable and easily approachable

Bonus points

• Experience in game analytics tools (Google BigQuery, Looker, Tableau etc..)

• Experience from digital service design for social apps/games
