TripDoodler is a Travel Tech startup with a clear impact agenda and we are looking for a Full Stack Developer who wants to help us build a new world of sustainable travel in a – by travelers for travelers – community globally.

We are looking for a developer who can transform our current beta into a solid revenue-generating MVP and from here build towards a strong PMF in 2021.

What we have

Our first beta is launched in a closed test environment. The responsive web app is built on an API First approach and our current tech stack is:

Frontend: HTML, CSS, SCSS, Vue.js, Vuex, Vue-router

Backend: Open source PHP framework Laravel, MySQL 8 for database

Hosting, code management and other: Digital Ocean for hosting, Ubuntu 20.04 (LTS) X64 as OS for server with PHP 7.4, MySQL 8, Nginx, GIT distributed version-control system for code management hosted on Bitbucket, Sentry for monitoring and diagnosis

Your DNA

You are a full-stack developer, you have experience from other start-ups and maybe you are a passionate traveler yourself.

• You are experienced within our current tech stack

• You must have a strong understanding of responsive FE development and cross-browser compatibility

• An understanding of UX/UI design is a strong plus

• You also have experience building RESTful APIs and integrating other web services

And

• You work hard to stick to your estimations, find solutions and take pride in writing clean code and a solid solution

• You are a team player

• You think out of the box, are adaptable and react pragmatically to rapid change

• You have an “everything is possible” attitude and are dedicated

The Role

You will be part of defining the future technical architecture, system design, and infrastructure. Outlining short-term development roadmap together with the Product team, drive sprints. And of course, code...

We are all experienced travelers who believe the future of travel is sustainable and share a clear vision to revolutionize the travel industry.

We create a world where sustainability is a natural part of all our travel choices and we do so by empowering global travelers. We have therefore built a platform that enables online travel planners in a – by travelers for travelers – community.
