Are you interested in tackling global issues within education, sustainable economic growth as well as income and gender inequalities? Edventures is the world's first educational AI tool for entrepreneurs, tailored for the specific needs of the entrepreneur. Through our conversational interface and our bite-sized learning feature, the user gets help with starting, running and growing its business or early-stage business idea. We're now looking to add a new member to our team of impact-makers.

 

We aim to empower youths and underprivileged communities through entrepreneurship, simply by lowering the thresholds for people to explore and realise ideas they believe in. We have a prototype ready and are working to develop and launch our MVP this year (which is one of the objectives for this role). At the same time, we’re raising our first round this year and the aim is to turn this role from an internship into a part time job as we get the funding required.

 

We’re looking for a person who doesn’t shy away from challenges and responsibilities, and who loves to communicate both complex and simple ideas, concepts and issues in a clear manner. We need a person passionate about entrepreneurship as well as social impact, and lastly, a person who loves to learn, grow and grind with our marketing on all channels.

 

We don’t care that much about extensive experience and a fancy portfolio, but rather that you have a great passion for words and storytelling and that you wish to grow within this domain. We believe that you are currently studying or working as your main activity, but is looking for a unique challenge and that you are willing to invest a few hours a day/week of your time for this role. Please note that this is an unpaid role, meaning motivation is the decisive factor for us. We’ll raise our first round this year and the plan is to convert this role into either a part-time employment or a freelance role, in order to compensate for the work put in.

You'll be:

  • part of setting the direction for our marketing tone and style

  • part of a very interesting and special startup

  • having full responsibility and freedom to shape all our external communication

  • hands-on create, plan, publish and manage content on all our channels

  • working from anywhere you want, and closely with our CEO

  • given the opportunity to test, fail and learn at an exponential rate

  • able to establish many new professional connections that may help your future career

  • starting with lots of rough material at your disposal to convert into content, but researching new content is an important reoccurring task

 

Need to know/have/be:

  • creative and daring

  • passionate about entrepreneurship and social impact (VERY important)

  • fluent in written and spoken English

  • a communicative person, both internally and externally, good with words and able to adapt messages for various contexts and/or audiences

  • a great storyteller

  • able to work independently, to set and meet deadlines

  • some experience with creating interesting campaigns and content on social media
