TurnIvy ApS is looking for a Mid-level Software Engineer to join our team to help us transform the way university students around the world learn by allowing them to save time and accomplish their academic goals.
You will be working with product development. We are solving a crucial problem in an underserved space; Students are busier and more stressed than ever before, and even though curriculums are becoming longer and longer, it doesn't have to be that way. TurnIvy is a new, Copenhagen-based app that distills the core principles from academic fields into a powerful, podcast-like format for students to get a leg up on their courses on the go.
This is a rare opportunity to work at a fast-paced, unconventional, EdTech startup that believes the sky is the limit. Your decisions and output will impact our current operations and the direction we go in the future. In October, we launched our beta app (both iOS and Android) and have since focused on gathering feedback-points and gradually improving it. Our developer is getting very busy, and he needs your help to work on our pipeline and collaborate on exciting new ideas. Besides our developer Jonas, we consist of two founders and an advisor. Joining our team is a guarantee for personal and professional growth. Compared to big, established companies, we don't have many predefined processes and fixed procedures, which means your ideas will be able to have a tremendous impact.
As the Mid-level Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing new features and corrections into our app. You will work directly with the founders and the current developer to get the app to new heights. Our team is understandable and realistic, and when you struggle, we will be ready to help you out.
You will help us develop and nurture long term sustainable growth, building on our progress and learnings to date. We are continually doing new tasks and learning, and you will be an essential piece in the success of such a dynamic environment. You'll be a part of a strong team, meaning when you succeed, we all succeed.

Flat organization where you share office with the founders;
Focus on supported learning;
Access to required software;
Flexibility (remote work allowed).
As an intern with us, you can expect lots of responsibility and challenges that will make you grow professionally and personally, 24/7 office space available (CSE), social events, and a letter of recommendation.
We encourage all applicants, regardless of background, gender, ethnicity, and orientation, to apply.
