Job purpose

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Back-End Developer to join our growing IT team. Right now, we’re looking for a total of 5 new people for the development team.

For this Back-End position, we need a skilled Developer setting up web crawlers and mining data and preparing them to be analyzed and validated by ML-applications and Online Brand Protection analysts.

You will be part of a dedicated team of developers, data scientists, and analysts looking to drive and making a difference within the world of legal tech.

Main tasks and duties

• You will be responsible for further building, maintaining, and improving our crawlers mining data

• Main focus on coding and debugging

• Provide training, help, and support to other team members with a possibility to further advance in the long run to gain more managerial tasks and responsibility

• Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle

• Work with data scientists to build a stable and powerful architecture for ML-applications for real-time optimization

• Write clean and easily maintainable code for our optimization engine with a focus on reliability and scalability

• Work very closely with other developers, data scientists, and Online Brand Protection analysts

• Follow new and emerging technologies

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in software development

• Solid experience in Node.js or Python programming

• Preferably basic understanding of AI concepts

• Experience in Firebase is preferable

• Working knowledge of advanced logging, monitoring, metrics, and alerting

• A good understanding of DevOps tools and methods, including end-to-end testing

• Quick learning ability and a drive suitable for the startup hustle

• Fluency in English for verbal and written communication is required
