Cardlay’s main product is a platform of web/mobile applications for customers like Eurocard and SEB bank. Cardlay is getting increasingly busy with exciting new opportunities. Therefore, new talented colleagues are needed to grow and strengthen the development team.

Help nurture and strengthen test automation

You work in a team driving excellence in the practice of automatic testing, establishing, coaching and learning development approaches to help support frequent and risk free deployments. 

You will also collaborate with our team of automation engineers and as a team you will be a leading example of automation testing practice. You will coach and guide your team around automation testing principles to ensure efficient deployment while keeping appropriate quality.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will involve improving automated test coverage and continuously collaborating and communicating with your team members in order to ensure high built in quality on the team’s deliverables. You will design and implement automated tests on both mobile and web applications as well as for the API’s. You will also ensure proper quality of your work and the work of the team for instance by contributing to the team’s choice of test approach, guiding the team on how to build in quality as well as participating in execution of manual, exploratory testing.

Strong experience with web and/or mobile applications

Perhaps you have a background as a master or bachelor in software development or other relevant education. It is important that you have a very strong understanding of test automation, preferable with JavaScript, Mobile frontends and Java backends. You find it natural to write tests and ensure the quality of your products while seeking pragmatic solutions.
