Monsido is a web governance SaaS solution designed to give website visitors a superior browsing experience. Monsido’s time-saving auditing tool helps its customers work with confidence to optimize their online presence as we scan and track all data in a user-friendly dashboard and provide reports on web accessibility, quality assurance, web analytics, response time, SEO, and corporate policies.

Monsido has a global presence. We are headquartered in Ballerup, Denmark with offices in San Diego, Sydney and our newly established London office.

In our Danish HQ we are currently 35 employees, but globally we are closing in on reaching 100 “Monsidians”, which we will reach and surpass very soon.

Compliance Officer

As our new and very first Compliance Officer, you will have the responsibility of driving, coordinating, reporting and developing our “Compliance area”, with a main focus on IT-compliance. You will work together with our IT team, our management team and with Legal, to make sure that we fulfill the requirements for compliance within Web governance, GDPR, IT security, Data Privacy and more.

More specifically, you will be;

• Responsible for external data processors and that our internal security requirements and procedures are in compliance

• Supporting and guiding our Tech Leads and Infrastructure Specialists in regards to security requirements and data documentation of system-compliance

• Securing documentation for compliance of “privacy by design and default”

• Creating policies and process descriptions, quarterly reports etc. 

• Implementing new policies

• Making sure we are compliant with different legislations, such as GDPR, APA, CCPA etc.

• Keeping yourself updated on the development of external threats, compliance law and practise

• Helping our sales employees with compliance questions and assisting with replying to RFQ/RFP’s on a regular basis

• On calls with customers and potential customers from around the world helping them understand Monsido’s security and compliance efforts. This will, in many cases, be during late afternoon and evenings.

• Preparing us for SOC II / ISO27001

There is no perfect candidate, but these are some points we prefer

We imagine that you have a relevant education, which could be as Cand.Merc.IT or Cand.Merc.Jur or similar, but more importantly we prefer that you have 1-2 years of experience within this field. Your experience could come from a similar student / part-time / full-time position in a larger IT-enterprise, the financial sector, the SaaS industry or perhaps from an auditor company.

By having that experience, you have accumulated a broad knowledge within the field of compliance and you have tried to describe processes, develop reports and compliance documents, etc. 

• As a minimum criteria, you can professionally communicate in English in speaking and writing.

Furthermore, it will be considered a huge plus if you can check off any of the following: 

• You possess knowledge about risk management, risk analysis and security requirements within IT, and you are able to identify what’s missing in regards to Compliance requirements

• You are highly adaptable and a selfstarter

• You have experience with designing and implementing IT- and business strategy projects from a safety perspective

• As a person you want to drive the Compliance area and take ownership of us reaching the target in the future

• You might have some experience in dealing with safety incidents and violations
