It's definitely an asset to have a profound competence in some of the technologies we are using – or going to use. We do need people that can extend our skillset right from the beginning. But since passion and curiosity beat skills over time, skill is not the primary thing we're looking for.

Our product is a wide combination of design, psychology, data acquisition, data processing, data analysis, web and mobile interfaces, various databases, cloud servers, and APIs.

In the end, it's a negotiation AI that handles conversations better than human beings. To work, the system must have the best possible data available and the capabilities to figure out the next move and to generate the natural language to communicate it. As a Back-end Developer, you are going to...

• Be an essential part of our backend team.

• Design and build fast and simple APIs to serve our mobile/web apps and to connect with third parties.

• Design and build microservices to process big data.

• Dive into the true meanings of different data points and discover use cases for them.

• Actively participate in data design.

• Apply Clean Code principles, test your code, and review others' code

This means that you'll need to...

• Be proficient either in Python or JavaScript (Node.js).

• Know SQL (PostgreSQL).

• Be very exact what it comes to data.

It would be of help to also...

• Know Kafka.

• Know GraphQL.

• Have good experience in working with APIs.

• Have experience in cloud servers (Google Cloud).

• Know the basics of machine learning.
