CTO at Brikk

Brikk is a tech-company and next-generation estate agency. Our aim is to revolutionise the way properties are being sold, to give consumers a much better user journey and experience, and to do all of this at a fraction of the cost that customers are forced to pay today. The company was started 2 years ago and we opened up for customers a year ago. Today we are one of the fastest-growing both start-ups and estate agencies in Denmark. But we are only at the start of our journey and have big ambitions.

Our underlying strength is technology and our tech platform Brikk Hub, which is a control center for buyers, sellers and estate agents. Whilst Brikk Hub is already a best in class platform we are looking to develop it further to ensure that technology remains a competitive advantage. For that purpose, we are looking for an ambitious CTO to join Brikk.

 

About The Role

You will be working closely with the CEO of the company, who has vast experience working with both product, developers, and technical leads. Simultaneously you will also be working closely with a group of external developers who have been acting as an in-house team since the inception of the company. You will be overall responsible for the tech architecture and the development roadmap. In addition, we expect you to do hands-on coding to progress development and on slightly longer-term hire and manage a team of developers.


Who are we looking for?

  • Experienced full-stack developer

  • Strong knowledge of- and experience with the implementation of modular tech stacks and heavy use of APIs and integrations.

  • You have experience with some or all of these technologies/frameworks: React, Symfony with PHP, DB: MySQL.

  • Someone who has strong technical skills, but at the same time a commercial mindset

  • Someone who can work structured and develop and execute on a dynamic roadmap

  • Someone who is fluent in English (Danish is a big plus, other languages a plus)

  • Someone who can work from our HQ in central Copenhagen (with some flexibility offered) 

  • Startup experience in tech leadership positions in a successful start-up or is a big plus
