Tise is a Norwegian, fast-growing software company. We do everything from coding to design and business development in-house. Our main focus is the mobile app called “Tise”, as in "advertise". It is a marriage between Instagram and Finn.no for selling and discovering second hand fashion, interior and furniture. We’re already more than 1,5 million registered users and are the largest marketplace within the fashion category in Norway.

We have offices in Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki and Copenhagen, and are currently expanding quickly in the Nordics and Brazil. We are looking for an experienced UX designer to join our team of nice, skilled and dedicated people.

As part of our growth strategy we are expanding our Product and Tech organisation; where there are loads of exciting opportunities ahead that we would like to capitalise on. The UX designer will be responsible for building inspiring user experiences within these focus areas. At Tise we always strive to keep the user at our center of attention, and to deliver great user experiences. The UX designer will hence be an instrumental and fully integrated part of the feature teams.

At Tise we believe that successful products and experiences are built on robust data and insight. The successful candidate will, in collaboration with the rest of the team, be able to translate KPIs and strategic goals into meaningful user interactions.The UX designer will work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to effectively guide concepts from early ideas to become functional, great products.

Responsibilities:

• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our users

• Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant

• Contribute to high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the Product & Tech teams

• Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually improve and raise the bar for quality

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to oversee the user experience of a product from conception to until launch

• Continually improve existing products and take a creative approach to new opportunities

Minimum qualifications:

• Team player

• Experience in designing software applications

• Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design

• Can provide a portfolio of previous work

Preferred qualifications:

• 3+ years experience with application design, visual design or interaction design

• Exceptional collaboration, partnership and influencing skills

• Creativity and ability to work independently with limited supervision. Proven ability to create structures and operational concepts

• Passion for making great consumer products and making the world more sustainable.
