Content Creator
Vev was founded in February 2017, wanting to create a visual website builder enabling professional teams and enterprises to focus less on the invisible features on their websites, and more on the visuals.
Our mantra is to “keep it simple”, while still covering the needs of large enterprises that previously have relied on hardcoding and heavy CMS systems.
We are in a rapidly growing phase and are looking for our new Content Creator to join us. The ideal candidate should be the perfect match between outstanding writing skills and interest in the intersection between technology and people.
As the Content Creator, you will be responsible for planning, producing, distributing, and measuring great stories and informative content. This content can take the shape of a blog post, article, customer case study, press release, presentation or video and will always be tailored to the appropriate purpose and channel. We would love for you to explore new channels and challenge us on how we approach our target groups. We would like you to produce in English.
The role will be based in Oslo (our headquarter).
As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for:
Responsible for our content marketing strategy
Develop benchmarks and goals for each campaign and ensure they are reached
Being the master of our blog posts, tutorial materials, social media posts, website contents, and other channels.
Take great photos & videos and do basic image editing
Being the source of our creativity
Build and manage a community with and for engaged customers
Take part in related events (boating industry, startup, sharing/circular economy)
Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
Learn and use inbound marketing software
Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client success
Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers
Key Competencies:
Formal education in marketing/communication, copywriting, or other relevant fields
2-3 years’ experience in content marketing – preferably from a recognized Nordic/global content marketing agency or similar
Creative and conceptual mindset with solid skills into translating business, marketing, brand, and digital strategies into modern, targeted, and differentiated campaigns aimed at changing behavior
Proficient in digital marketing across channels (e.g. Social, web, etc) and well versed in related tools (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc)
Strong self-leadership, interpersonal and communication skills fit for modern organizations
Familiar with Adobe Suite
You should be tech-savvy and have an analytical mindset which motivates you to base your content on facts and achieve measurable results
Exceptional skills in written English.
