Vev was founded in February 2017, wanting to create a visual website builder enabling professional teams and enterprises to focus less on the invisible features on their websites, and more on the visuals.

Our mantra is to “keep it simple”, while still covering the needs of large enterprises that previously have relied on hardcoding and heavy CMS systems.

We are in a rapidly growing phase, and looking for our new Head of People Operations to join us. The ideal candidate should have experience within HR as well as cross functional HR roles including recruitment, temporary staffing, and be a helping hand in the company’s daily operations. On top of that, a fun person to work with.

As the Head of People Operations, you will be responsible for reviewing and improving the current guidelines, successfully implementing new company policies and maintain our HR systems. To be successful we believe you are able to think strategically and work operationally, have a can-do attitude, be hands on and service-minded, and have a capacity to perform in high speed and under pressure.

The role will be based in Oslo (our headquarter).

As a Head of HR & Operations, you will be responsible for:

• Implement recruitment strategy; is responsible for our HR – Recruitment system (Teamtailor) and develop it further

• Qualify competency requirements with respective Manager team and drive regular meetings throughout, establishing agreed actions

• Design and ensuring that our HR policies and procedures fit the organizational needs

• Manage HR representatives internally and externally

• Be the project lead on change management processes

• Work with the management team on needful operational implementation

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role

• A People person

• Good knowledge of labor law

• Hands-on experience with an HR system, best Teamtailor

• Professional, accountable, high energy, and collaborative team player

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

• Competitive drive, strong work ethic, and motivation to learn, grow and succeed

• Excellent team working ability

• BSc in HR or relevant field
