We are a software product company, consultancy and training provider based in Norway and operating throughout Europe. Our experience specifying, designing and building effective systems for complex scientific and engineering problems in the energy, defence and instrumentation industries uniquely places us to solve problems using sophisticated software development approaches. We transfer these skills to our clients through our training courses and consulting.

At Sixty North, junior developers work under the guidance of more senior colleagues on projects ranging from consulting to training to in-house tools. Our goal is to grow your skills to the point where you can handle new development projects independently and confidently.

Perhaps you've recently graduated with a computer-related degree, or maybe you discovered an interest in programming through a less traditional path. We know that great developers can come from almost any background, so we're less interested in what you already know than in your ability to learn. We're looking for candidates with the perseverance, inquisitiveness, and open-mindedness to engage with every facet of software development.

You could be working with us on projects for engineering firms in London, or hedge funds in New York; robotics research institutes in arctic Norway, or top-tier gaming companies in Vancouver. In recent weeks we’ve coded in Python, Javascript, Julia, Java, C++, and Elm, so you can expect to gain experience in a range of technologies and platforms.
