What you will be doing at Jyve:

• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deeply understand the needs of Jyve's users and build a product that serves those needs

• Design, build, and maintain performant, responsive and delightful web features

• Take full ownership of engineering projects from design to implementation to deployment and maintenance

• Ensure that their development environment is best in class by delivering improvements to internal tooling and build process

• Assist in triaging bugs and solving issues in production

• Learn about, use, and teach new web technologies

• Review code and have your code reviewed

• Mentor and be mentored by other engineers

• Improve the team and company by being an active participant in helping to build their culture

Things that make you a good fit:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related field

• 3+ years working experience with React JS / Typescript development (or other well-known front-end frameworks)

• 3+ years of experience building clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Great engineering skills and strong CS fundamentals

• Deep understanding of Javascript / HTML / CSS

• Ability to apply quantitative reasoning and UX design principles to building applications

• Excellent collaborative, communication, and documentation skills
