While we are an early-stage company, we have investment, leadership, and support from leaders in the Nordic e-commerce industry who are eager to see change. Therefore, we are looking for a passionate developer with ambitions of leading a team and driving the technical decisions for our product, which is built with .NET Core and Angular, running on Azure.

You will be working in a dynamic environment and collaborate closely with the founders of the company. Your main responsibility will be to lead the development of our product and, as we grow internally, to lead a team of software developers that we plan to hire in the immediate future. (We’re ready when you are!)

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality, robust and scalable applications using .NET Core (C#) and Angular

• Manage 1 or 2 additional developers who will work with you, assuring the quality of their work and taking responsibility as the technical lead

• Work with the Project Manager and Product Owner to fully understand the business requirements and assure that the project deliverables are fulfilling the requirements

• Improve database structure and load performances

• Define and follow technical specifications

• Contribute to technical design

• Document important system mechanics

• Perform code reviews to identify basic technical and logical errors

• Collaborate with other team members using Agile methodologies, on-site and off-site

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Don't have a formal education? That's cool too, we're all about taking action. Sell yourself!

• Have excellent communication skills, interpersonal, oral, and written of English language

• Be a good person (Seriously, this one is super important!)

Experience

• .NET Core (C#), Angular 2+, TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS/JS

• MS SQL Server + Entity Framework, PostgreSQL, or MySQL

• Building scalable and distributed systems – ideally in Azure (AWS or GCP experience works too)

• Creating, designing, and working with APIs (REST, SOAP, XML)

• Setting up CI/CD pipelines as well as systems for monitoring solutions in production

• Automated testing and implementation

• Project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.

• Source control tools like Git, BitBucket, etc.

• Some experience in ElasticSearch is a plus
