We need someone who wants to be a DevOps advocate and help evolve the DevOps mindset and culture within the Tech department. We have a long way to go and are in need of more monitoring. Therefore, we need someone who continuously wants to add metrics and create visualisations for the entire Tech team.

We are expanding with rocket speed and were recently confirmed as the fastest-growing company in Denmark over the past four years. Generally, building something from scratch should excite you rather than terrify you... Don't worry, you won't be doing this alone; in the past year, we welcomed more than 170 people to our team from various backgrounds such as Bonnier, Pleo, GoMore and Google. We have plenty of ideas of how we should grow in the future and we are looking for more talented people to help us with this. 

Who are we?

Hobbii is an eCommerce scaleup selling and shipping thousands of packages a day with yarn, knitting and crochet accessories to dedicated yarn lovers in 35+ countries. We’re a Danish company with an international outlook. Recently, we’ve launched a number of physical stores and aim to hit 50 stores within 3 years to supplement our online sales.

The nitty-gritty skills needed:

• Experience with Configuration Management (preferred Terraform and Ansible).

• Worked with Git (preferred Gitlab).

• You have experience with automation and programming (Bash, Python).

• You have worked with AWS.

• You are familiar with maintaining Linux servers.

We’d be thrilled if you:

• Know about Gitlab-ci and pipelines.

• Have experience with deployments.

• Have played with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Have a broad database knowledge (MongoDB, InfluxDB, Redis, MySQL and PostgreSQL).

• Know Prometheus, Grafana, Icinga, Telegraf.

• Have an interest in Data Warehouses, Datalakes and AI.

• Have tried Odoo and Opencart.
