The food industry accounts for 25% of emissions globally and is as such an important industry to transform to reach the climate goals set in the Paris agreement. Our mission at Klimato is to cut food related emissions by offering a service for restaurants to calculate and communicate, set goals and report the actual carbon footprint of the food they are serving. Our tool is used by more than 120 restaurants in Sweden and Norway.

By working with climate data, we are providing a web application for actors in the restaurant industry to:
Calculate and label carbon emissions on their menus and products
Track progress and detect areas of improvement through monthly reporting
Offset unavoidable carbon emissions through carefully selected projects
Who will I be working with?
We are ten people on the team with mixed backgrounds from Environmental Engineering, Design, Innovation Management, Digital Marketing & International Development. The one thing we do have in common is a pragmatic approach to fighting climate change! You will be joining our business development team, split between Sweden and Norway to help us grow our customer base and manage current clients.
