Tollson ApS is a Cleantech startup based out of Copenhagen and established in early 2020, at the Technical University of Denmark. We have developed a filtration technology which can be used for industrial purposes, where a separation of solid and liquid is needed - our current focus is within treatment of waste- and stormwater. Are you a stickler for technical details, with a creative mindset, who wants to learn and be challenged in a startup work environment and are interested in building a good network in the startup scene, this is the internship for you!

As our new Mechanical Engineer Intern you will support the team in the development of the 2nd generation of our patent-pending mechanical filtration technology, CylinderPress™. You will be assisting the lead designer in the development of various components and systems related to the technology. In Tollson we place a great emphasis on emerging and innovative technology, and all product development is done in-house and in collaboration with our sub suppliers. You will be part of a young manufacturing company with a lot of traction and a wide background within mechanical, materials and process & production engineering. Tollson’s core technology consists of hardware with an integrated control unit, consisting of PLC, frequency inverters etc. and is produced for industrial applications. It is essential that our new intern has a fundamental interest in industrial technology as well as manufacturing of machinery. Knowledge within materials such as metals and polymers is a benefit. It is important that you are comfortable executing your own projects from concept to production. Working in Tollson, you must also be adaptable as tasks may vary from day to day.

Your Qualifications

You will be focusing on tasks such as:

• Produce components in CAD and technical drawings for production (we use SolidWorks®)

• Mechanical drafting including proper dimensioning and tolerance

• Understanding and creating documentation for engineering purposes

• Ad-hoc tasks supporting the lead designer
