BidTheatre is looking for a talented software developer to join its Stockholm office. The position is an important part of a small but agile team with high ambitions and great potential for personal development.
In the role you will be BidTheatre’s main specialist in the development of our web administration application ”BidTheatre Studio” and related user interfaces. The application is used both internally and by clients to aid the setup and delivery of digital advertising campaigns on BidTheatre’s infrastructure.
The application is built with React, Redux, communicating with REST/JSON APIs. You will have great autonomy in future design and framework choices. You will be working closely with other members of our team of software engineers in an agile manner. The team tackles scalability, machine learning, orchestration, software quality and a variety of other challenges.
We believe that you have post high school training or equivalent work experience, with a least one year of documented work with web development. A broad rather than niche skill set is preferred, along with an analytical mindset. You're a self-starter and independently take tasks to completion, being pro-active and communicative. You are without prestige, social and easy going.
Work is currently done remotely due to covid-19. Post-pandemic we will return to work primarily from the office, with the flexibility of working from home one day per week.
Requirements:
Strong interest in computer science and software
2+ years experience with web development and Javascript/ES6, HTML5 and CSS
1+ years experience with React
Comfortable with a broad range of tasks in an active environment
Good written and spoken English skills
Experience with building administration applications
Nice to have:
Degree in Computer Science
Experience with Redux, Redux Saga and Webpack
Experience with functional programming
Experience with Test Driven Development
An interest in User Experience and User Interface design
Fluency in Swedish
Background in the online advertising industry
