What you’ll get to take on in this role

Episode creation and promotion duties that include:

• Network actively and boldly approach to find the guests and arranging the for interviews

• Pre production for the interviews

• Conducting and recording the interviews

• Post production – Editing the recordings

• Uploading the episodes online and running Tribecast social media promotion

What we expect from you

• Good Communication skills and a high level of English

• Clear articulation and as well as a pleasant voice.

• Interest towards sound and radio/podcasting

• Previous knowledge, or strong motivation to learn, of Tampere entrepreneurial ecosystem

• Ability to develop the project further, open-mindedness, and being active and self-organised

• Communicative and collaboratively spirited – Tribecast is a part of Tribe family. You are ready to help and won’t be shy to ask for a hand when needed.

Bonus Points if

• You already have an experience in radio journalism, podcasting, sound editing

• You have experience of brand social media management and basic graphic design skills

• Hands-on experience from startup field and entrepreneurship

The Start-up Spirit

This position requires a strong passion to work with the startup community, so the entrepreneurial attitude is a must-have! You will excel in this role if you are a strong self-starter with a lot of initiative –  if something has to be done, it has to be done, no matter of time expected to be consumed at the given moment.

Time Commitment

This position is an internship position. Although we can’t offer monetary compensation, the role comes with great benefits (see below). In order to gain useful experience and build a network during your journey, around 10h/week commitment would be good. The duration of the position starts immediately and will last till the end of 2020 (there is a possibility to continue).

As media, Tribecast has free access to the majority of startup and business events in Finland and Nordics. You will be able to expand your network significantly!

While working in cooperation with Tribe Tampere, you will be in the middle of one of the fastest-growing, innovative and transparent startup ecosystems in the Nordics! You will be a part of developing activities in the newly opened Startup House, Platform6, and get to work in the heart of the Tampere startup scene.
