Tribe Tampere is an entrepreneurial community (association), which helps startup communities and entrepreneurial organizations to collaborate at Tampere startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem. As a community intern you will be working together with the Community Leads and other volunteers. You will participate in building the community of Tribe and Platform 6.

As a community intern you will be working together with the Community Leads and other volunteers.

You will participate in building the community of Tribe and Platform 6:

• Planning, executing and evaluating community building activities in the house

• Creating and directory of members in the house

• Develop ideas to engage the larger startup community in Tampere

What we expect from you

• Experience with event planning and management

• Outstanding interpersonal skills – you are a people’s person

• Strong verbal and written English skills

• Understanding of the Tampere entrepreneurial ecosystem (at least a strong will to learn about it)

• Willingness to develop role further

• Good communicative skills and collaborative team spirit

• Creativity! Tribe’s tone of voice is fun and casual. So all kinds of crazy and innovative ideas are highly appreciated!.

Bonus Points if you’re good at

• Graphic design

• Hands-on experience from startup field and entrepreneurship

• International experience

The Start-up Spirit 

This position requires a strong passion to work with the startup community, so the entrepreneurial attitude is a must-have. You will excel in this role if you are a strong self starter with a lot of initiative – no hand holding!  If something has to be done, it has to be done, no matter of time expected to be consumed at the given moment.

Time Commitment

This position is an internship position. Although we can’t offer monetary compensation, the role comes with great benefits (see below). In order to gain useful experience and build a network during your journey, around 5-10h/week commitment would be good. The duration of the position starts immediately and will last till the end of 2020 (there is a possibility to continue).
