Soundsensing is an IoT sensor and Machine Learning company based in Oslo, Norway. Our mission is to use sound as data source to help solve challenges in construction, manufacturing, offices and cities. Current pilot customers include The Ministry of Justice, Asplan Viak, Oslo Kommune, etc.

Our mission is to use sound as a data source to help solve challenges in the real estate industry.

We do this by combining our custom developed sensor hardware with data processing and Machine Learning (both on-sensor and in the cloud) to help our customers make use of one of our most original, abundant and rich data sources - sound.

The extracted information is then presented in a web-based application, and made available in an API.

Our customers include the Department of Justice, Oslo, Asplan Viak, 4Cast Group, and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for our web service and data processing layer

You also get the opportunity to contribute in other places of our software stack: sensor firmware, tooling for sensor QA and Machine Learning pipelines 

Qualifications

• Backend: Python/SQL/REST. We use PostgreSQL/Flask

• Frontend: JavaScript. We use React and Grafana

• You have deployed web services and shipped products before

We are looking for a person with minimum 2-3 years of experience in relevant technologies.
